Lamon's violin by Gio. Paolo Maggini c1610, restored to original specifications by W. Bouman, The Hague, 1975. Mahler's Violincello anonymous Florentine instrument c1800, in original condition. Nediger's harpsichord by Willard Martin, Bethlehem, Penn., 1980; copy of an early 18th century French single manual harpsichord. Destrubé's violin by Georg Kloz c1790, restored to original specifications by Denis Cormier, 1979. Graves' bassoon after J. C. Denner by B. Stanley and G. L. Jones. Please note: Tuning is in Meantone temperament: a'=415. Recorded at St. Anne's Anglican Church, Toronto, July 1,2,3, 1982. Cutting & Half-Speed Mastering: IAM Studio, California. Pressed on Teldec vinyl. Monitored with Quad Electrostatic speakers. Insert/Notes inclosed.
