Community Radio 2XX is the oldest community radio station in Australia, starting in 1976, and located in Canberra, ACT (Australian Capital Territory). Originally on the AM band it switched to 98.3 FM in the late 1990s. Up until late 1999 the station had a multi-track recording studio - "Studio C" - at which many Canberra musicians and bands were recorded (use [l379948] for such recordings). Several official 2XX compilation albums have been produced. Others have been joint projects with labels such as Blatant Propaganda.
