Somerset Entertainment was a company that produced and distributed specialty music sold through non-traditional retailers using interactive displays. Established in 1994, Somerset produced and distributed concept-based music targeted at consumers over the age of 30. Its 19 product lines represented a variety of music genres including world, relaxation, jazz, classical, children’s and hit compilations. The company was acquired by [l=Mood Media Entertainment Ltd.] on November 25, 2009. [l=Mood Media] dissolved Somerset Entertainment as on January 1, 2011. In 2013 [l=Mood Entertainment] was sold to [l=Allegro Corporation] and the name was changed to Somerset Entertainment again, effectively reviving the brand. In December 2015, it was sold to Digital Funding LLC.
