Jazz oriented label from Berlin, previously known as [l=Vinyl Records]. Apparently they had to change name as Teldec also had a label called Vinyl. Some Vinyl releases were repressed as View Records releases, sometimes still in the old Vinyl logo'd sleeves. View also had the rock / new-wave / experimental music series [l=Good Noise]. Label boss Manfred Schiek, at the same address later established the labels [l=Dossier] (new-wave), [l=Ear Rational] (post-jazz), [l=Konnex] (new-jazz) and [l=Atonal] (modern, electronic).
