Profile

British shellac label active between 1921-1928. Established by Crystalate and sold exclusively in Woolworths stores. The label design changed several times during its existence. The earliest releases (1921-1922) were on single-sided 5½" discs before they switched to the more common two-sided 5½" discs (1922-1926) and finally two-sided 6" discs in early 1926. Originally named "Mimosa", later as "The Mimosa" and finally as "The Mimosa Record"
