The French cheese company was founded in Lons-le-Saunier in 1901 by Octave Grosjean, trader and refiner of Gruyère. From 1921, she devoted herself to the manufacture of cream of Gruyère, marketed under the name of "[l1174979]". After a lost process for the brand name with the competitor [l940838], the brand [l213596] was established in late 1950s, then used "La Vache Grosjean" in the 60s.
