[l=Hip Hop Nation] is a spanish magazine with several years in the market and also distribuited in Portugal, when in 2002, Miguel Pedregal, from the group Megamultimedia and [a=José Manuel Soares] decided to create a portuguese version of the magazine, combining stuff from the spanish edition with original one done by the portuguese team of collaborators. Tiago Ribeiro aka DJ [a=Bomberjack] was invited to be the director of the portuguese edition. Several other names very well related with the national hip hop scene were also invited to write for the magazine. Hip Hop Nation, as the name indicates, was totally devoted to the world of rap and hip-hop, national and international, exactly like the original spanish one. Hip Hop Nation Portugal was released monthly and every issue came with a free-CD compilation from 2003 to 2006. 25 issues were released in total before the activities were stopped. Hip Hop Nation Spain still active nowadays.
