Passierzettel

Passierzettel is a collective of musicians based in Hamburg. They are influenced by Kraut, Freejazz, Punk, New Wave, Psychedelia and World Music and compose only spontaneously. Passierzettel was founded in 1988 by Thomas Siebert (guitar, keys, engeneering) and Sven Wulf (bass) in Hamburg / Germany. In 1996 Thomas Piesbergen (voice, effects) and Martin Pozdrowicz (percussion, sampler) joined the collective as constant members. From the beginning Passierzettel worked with a large number of guest musicians, e.g. Thomas E. Martin of Faust, Damo Suzuki of Can, Lothar Meid of Embryo, Amon Düül 2 and Passport, Hannes Wienert, Michael Walther, Carla Genchi and many more. They cooperated with the London based Urban Dub on their album Illegal Immigrants. They have a tight connection to the art scene of Hamburg and contribute to exhibitions and performances regularly.
