Sons Of The Tribe

Sons of the Tribe made a name for themselves in the late 90's to late 2000's as one of the first live hip hop bands in the UK. They released the single "Cobwebs" and "Half way home" and gained air play from Chuck D of Public Enemy and Steve Lamacq of Radio one, supported Rodney P and Skitz at Glastonbury and were voted UK single of the month in Hip Hop connection In September 2006 topping such artists as Skinnyman, Klashnekoff, Jehst, and Micall Parkunsun. Sons of the Tribe went on to merge with Hundredth Monkey to form Monkey Sons.
