Zzaj

Swedish jazz pop group that was active in 1986–1993. The band's permanent members were Anna Nederdal and Billy Bolero. The latter wrote most of the group's material and produced the group's records. Zzaj, whose name is the word jazz spelled backwards, was heavily influenced by British soul pop group Sade and other groups in the sophistipop genre. The band disbanded after three albums, but returned in 2011 with the single Så länge vi andas. In 2015 came the single Alla sångerna dedicated to the late saxophonist Mats Gunnarsson.
