Häxfeber

Swedish progg rock group formed in 1976 in Gothenburg. They were the only real rock group that arose in Sweden from the 1970s women's movement. The group played blues-based rockbeat and their lyrics were clearly feminist. In 1980, the LP Häxfeber (MNW 105P) was released. Lisa Andersson, Katharina Brette, Mary Eisikovits, Karin Fält, Mimie Hedström, Birgitta Larsson, Marie-Louise Nilebrink and Margareta Ohlsson appeared on the record. Anne Robertsson had left the group before the record was released. After Häxfeber dissolved in the early 1980s, some of the members formed the New Wave band Collapse.
