Sabenza
Sabenza was a South African jazz band formed in 1986 by legendary saxophonist [a=Basil Coetzee]. It consisted of core members [a=Paul Abrahams] (bass), [a=Paula Goldstone] (keyboards) and [a=James Kibby] (guitar). [a=Jack Momple], Tich Arendse, [a=Vic Higgins] and Deon Slabber occupied the drummer's seat at various stages of the band's evolution. The name 'Sabenza' was derived from 'SABand' and 'sebenza', the Zulu word for 'work'.
