The Echoes

English rock group, formed in 1960 as a backing group for touring artists including Gene Vincent and Jerry Lee Lewis. They later became the backing group for [a=Dusty Springfield], before splitting up in 1971. They also released seven singles under their own name between 1962 and 1968.
