Polish music group performing broadly understood rock music.The band was created in 1992 by ex musician of She and Skawalker Tomasz "Lipa" Lipnicki, Jerzy "Jerry" Rutkowski and Paweł Herbasch. The group's first concert took place in February that year in Gdańsk. Jarosław Śmigiel joined them in August of the same year. This line-up remained unchanged throughout the active history of the band until 1999. The group began its concert activity in the second half of 1992, giving several concerts in Germany. Illusion was the winner of the first edition of the Marlboro Rock-in competition in May 1993, played in support of Iggy Pop in Warsaw's Torwar in July, and in August played at the Polish festivals in Jarocin and the Festival of Energii Sztuki in Żarnowiec (both August 1993), after appeared at the Gampel festival in Switzerland (right after them, the former vocalist of The Animals - Eric Burdon appeared on stage). The performance there was one of the prizes provided for winning the Marlboro Rock-in festival, while another was the recording of the album and its release by the Polton label.
