The first professional EP release by the artist and the first installment in a three-part series. A few words here on the EP by the artist: “Sketches of Pains and Forgiveness” is the audio expression of the varying stages of depression I experienced from my days as a youth to my late 20s, culminating in climactic tribulation, intense catharsis, and leading to spiritual and emotional re-awakening. But behind all these fluffy words lie some very severe beatings that landed me in the hospital at the age of 18 and 21, even more traumatic events that came with coming of age as a male immigrant youth in a large urban setting in the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s, and the regular challenges of the American life for someone coming from a low-income background. But rather than licking my wounds too much and getting a nasty salty taste in my mouth, I decided to transform those experiences and impact it had on my life into something meaningful and liberating.
