Carbunkle Shack --- undefined

In 1986 founding members of Sydney band, [a=Wet Taxis] Simon & Tim Knuckey formed Carbunkle Shack to play 60s garage punk and blues funk rock. This album is an in memorium tribute to Simons guitar genius and often humorous song writing. The recordings are from various studio sessions and a live to tape session at Maxs Petersham Inn. Lachlan Dengate was the anchor man on drums for most of the bands existence, however we would like to thank the many talented musicians who have shuffled through the Carbunkular ranks and others who have helped to get this darn album into the light of day. Here is but a few, Igor, Geoff, Jimmy J. (Wild Cat Tamers), Duncan and the Pismo Bar, Paul, Gavin, Danielle, Anthony and Barry. Special production thanks to Lachlan Dengate, Michael Vidale, Dale from Dogbox Studio. Susanna Strati for artwork, Raimond de Weerdt and Kerri Ambler for photography and Carol Walsh & Emma Knuckey for archival material. And, Lachlans Mum, Mrs Dengate ! Complications from a lung transplant due to Cystic Fibrosis forced Simon to shuffle off this mortal coil, but the music and the funky love live on.
