Maestros De La Saeta: Semana Santa En Sevilla
Overview
Maestros De La Saeta: Semana Santa En Sevilla --- 1993
Historic recordings from 1940's. »The "saeta" is one of the most famous songs of the Andalusian people - its origin is probably moorish - and its use is restricted to religious celebrations. The melodies bear some of the traits of the "cante jondo". The "saetas" contained here have been recorded in the true atmosphere of the Sevillian processions and when listening to them you will enjoy the pleasure of being taken back to the unforgettable experience of a Holy Week spent in Seville.« This compilation (C) & (P) 1993 by Planet Records. Distributed by Camarillo Music Ltd. PLANET RECORDS. Made in Switzerland. Jewel case with a 6-panel inlay. Liner notes in Spanish, English and French. Was distributed in Germany by ARIS (875613).
