Yeti One --- 2000

The CD came with the first issue of YETI magazine. Disc is housed inside a white paper envelope sleeve with clear window that is glued onto the inside of back cover of 228 page 6" x 9" (inches) paperback book. Track 1 is a 4-track home recording. Track 2 recorded on a 4-track & finished on a computer at Clava, Chicago, IL. Track 3 recorded in Takemura's own studio in Kyoto, Japan in the Spring of '99. Track 4 recorded at the same sessions as Elliott's self-titled 1995 Kill Rock Stars debut. Track 5 is a live recording from 1971. Track 6 (& 17) "may or may not be part of a collection entitled 'Materials for the Study & Culture of the Lower East Side'." Track 8 recorded at Sadhu Studios during the Summer of 2000. Track 9 is a version of "Fried Monkey Eggs," made late 1999 at the Stereolab home studio. Track 10 recorded in Seattle, WA in Fall 1998. Track 11 recorded at Alleged Studio, Spring 2000. Track 12 recorded live at Cay-Tokyo, JP 6-10-00. Track 13 is from Elyse Weinberg's 1968 album 'Elyse'. Track 16 recorded in 2000. Track 17 recorded with a Sony Pro Walkman, a gift from Allen Ginsberg. Track 18 is an alternate version of the track from the 1999 CD 'Meet' (Drop Beat). Track 19 recorded in 1999. Total time: 75:37
