MRGNC A North Carolina Mixtape from Merge Records --- 2016-04-07

Per https://www.mergerecords.com/merge-new-belgium-mixtape-shows Merge Records and New Belgium Brewing are bringing together North Carolina musicians and North Carolina craft beer at the following events across Durham in April. Twenty-seven years of indie music meets 25 years of craft brewing passion for new experiences with Merge artists from North Carolina. Each event will include vintage listening stations with Merge NC mixtapes (which we will be giving away), adult coloring (same as coloring when you were younger, but the word “adult” means it’s cool now), and Citradelic Tangerine IPA, Heavy Melon Watermelon Lime Ale, and Fat Tire Amber Ale. April 7: The Pinhook (117 W. Main St., Durham) A free show with Asheville’s Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound) and Nest Egg. Doors at 7pm. April 16 aka Record Store Day: Schoolkids Records in Durham (905 W. Main St.) & Raleigh (2237 Avent Ferry Rd.) With New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA, Heavy Melon Watermelon Lime Ale, and Fat Tire Amber Ale. Performances by exciting NC musicians TBA. April 22: American Underground (201 W. Main St., Durham) A private event for members, with a DJ set by Mac McCaughan, co-founder of Merge Records and Superchunk. Join Grand Cru for your chance to get tickets. April 30: Motorco Music Hall (723 Rigsbee Ave., Durham) A free show with Charlotte’s Benji Hughes. Doors at 8pm. Check in at www.newbelgium.com/rdu for further details.
