First volume of WWOZ-FM membership CDs, offered during 1994 membership drive. All recordings are live performances (recorded at the 1993 New Orleans jazz festival) and are unique to this disc and (supposedly) not available elsewhere. The CD title does not actually include the words "Volume 1," but listed here as that to differentiate from the many other similarly titled CDs from WWOZ. CD was not available commercially and was only offered during the 1994 fund drive(s).
