"When the pressing plant was pressing Rachel Haden's 7" Devils in Me, they didn't realize the order was for red vinyl and pressed 20 black singles first. Instead of destroying them, they sent them to me. I didn't have anything I wanted to do with them at the time so they sat in a box. A few months later I found myself in LA hanging with Rachel and cover artist Nate Pottker. We decided to make covers for the 20 black copies and hand color them all with blacklight ink, Rachel signed them all on the back and we amended the catalog numbers by hand on the labels.
