The GBR Project returns back to Aerotek, and this time with a mind bender of a release, titled 'Delusional'. This release is certainly not for the faint of heart, and comes full force with dark vibes in the heat of the summer. We felt that this release was better suited for the winter months, but we said the hell with it, Techno knows no time, so here it is. Gavin Richards aka GBR, has had one successful run here at Aerotek, with his debut EP, titled Tik Tok. Gavin, along with his trustworthy sidekick Variant, owner of Amalgm8 Musiq, nailed it out of the park with the forward thinking release. So much so, that Gavin's 'Tik Tok' Original, made it all the way to the top #1 selling track for Aerotek's top 10 on Beatport, as well as making its way into the top 100 Beatport Hard Techno section! That goes to show that the talent is there, and which is why we invited Gavin for another go into the ranks. Delusional takes no prisoners, and goes straight for the jugular, leaving your breathless, confused and sure enough...delusional. The insane mind of The GBR Project is perfectly portrayed and translated in this twisted piece that we are proud to showcase to you. Variant then takes up a notch with his phenomenal take on the track, perfectly complimenting the original with his unique taste that always leaves you wanting more. Then we have Andy James, first, we would like to welcome him to the Aerotek family, with his debut remix of Delusional. Andy, an Ohio native, has a great knack for the Techno sound, who blends it all together very nicely, which is why we are proud to have on board, he really does an incredible job in his craft. And finally, we have 'Scrape', another twisted original by GBR, bringing back the release full circle in all its madness. We here at Aerotek, always strive for something different, off the beaten path if you will, so we thank you to those who have supported our different ways, and staying true to the diverse Techno sound we all crave for. Excited to say, that this release is scheduled for release during Movement weekend in Detroit, and we are ecstatic to say that we had our first label showcase ever there!!...and it was held in a dark, dirty warehouse in Detroit that we are blessed to have been given the opportunity to throw, alongside our partner-in-crime Detroit native, Sub÷Divizion Records, who we thank from the bottom of our hearts for the chance to be involved.
