8 Of Us R Dead --- 2003

Compilation of early singles, compilations and rarities. Tracks 1, 7, 15, 17 recorded in a garage in Essex in 1994 and released on the single 'We Have The Balleeen'... Track 2 recorded in a flat underneath heavy footed neighbours in 1999 and tweaked in a flat with heavy handed neighbours in 2001... Track 4 was recorded at the Free Butt pub in Brighton on a Sunday afternoon in 2003 with the assistance of Steve Ansell. Released on the '2 Minutemen 2' compilation double single on Johnson Family Records... Track 5 was recorded on a 4 track in a flat with level-headed neighbours in 1995 and released on the single '4-Track 4-Track' on Slampt. Track 6 was recorded in a converted toilet in 2001 and released on the 'Fields and Streams' double CD on Kill Rockstars in 2002... Tracks 8 and 2 were recorded in yet another flat. This one had water running down the walls. Some time around 1997... Track 9 was recorded under similar conditions to track 5 and was released on the same label, on an LP called 'Elastic Jet Mission'... Track 10 was recorded in one of the aforementioned flats... Track 11 was also recorded in the toilet and released on the Area 52 single on Area 52 Records... Track 12 was recorded in one of those other flats and released under the name 'One Small Good Thing' on a split single with the Supreme Dicks on Infinite Chug in 1995... Tracks 13 and 14 were originally intended for the first I'm Being Good album 'Horse Man Ship' which the Lissy's label failed to release. 'Duped' turned up later on a compilation LP on Paroxysm Records... Track 16 was recorded on a 4-track somewhere around 1995. Originally released on cassette... Track 18 was released on a Fisheye 7" single set... Track 19 recorded in a flat and released on the Disco Sucks compilation on Che Records... Track 20 was released on the 'Hate Sturdy Buildings' single on Infinite Chug... Track 21 was recorded on the same day as track 1 and released on the same record as track 9... Track 22 was on a split single with Trumans Water in the year 2000 or thereabouts
