The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea --- 2003

Recorded in Chateaubriant, France and Taranaki, New Zealand on a Teac Four Track from July 1993 to December 1994, except for the initial engineering on "Oxford Circus" which was done at WFMU, East Orange, New Jersey back in July 1992. Stuck together and mixed in an old unused library in Taranaki, New Zealand 1994. Digital Mastering done at Uphon Studios, Weilheim, Germany. Original Cover Art was done by Graeme in the Raffmond Office in Landsberg, Germany and is made up from things he found in the junk mail. This "White Label" issue was put together in the kitchen at Cake HQ and is a very limited edition. Black Die-Cut LP Jacket with Center Hole and a Frontcover-Repro glued on one side. Plain white inner sleeve with 12 purple stamped kiwis in a circle reading "ORIGINAL NEW ZEALAND MUSIC" on the die-cut side around the edges - same stamp on the label of the A-side. On the other side with 16 blue stamps in 4 rows. these stamps have a cakekitchen-logo with "www.thecakekitchen.net". Same stamp on the label of the B-side. Includes an DIN A4 information sheet. The runouts are etched.
