Limited to 250. CD in cardwallet with 18 pages booklet with lyrics,photos and liner notes. concept: The Voynich manuscript is an illustrated codex, hand-written in an unknown writing system. It has been carbon-dated to the early 15th century (1404–1438), and may have been composed in Northern Italy during the Italian Renaissance. It has been studied by many professional and amateur cryptographers, including American and British codebreakers from both World War I and World War II, but so far no one has yet succeeded in deciphering the text, let alone understanding its intriguing and charming illustrations of unknown plants, water-bearing women, unique star constellations... Daniele Pinti's photographic work was inspired by the mysterious and timeless charm the manuscript conveys; he hid his models' features with leaves and branches as if to make them blend with the natural elements, like dark ghosts stemming from the very pages of a compelling book... DBPIT & XxeNa's music, dark and rhythmic, is the ideal soundtrack to the images and with them form an inseparable unit. The six tracks are named after imaginary plants they ideally bring to life to accompany the ghosts...
