Comes with a xeroxed info sheet with track listing and this text: HOT and CAP records present their first joint venture, "ABIO'SUNNI," the new LP from GASPER LAWAL. The culmination of over a year of work, "Abio'sunni" is a superbly crafted album combining elements of African sound with western input to create 6 unique pieces of music. Currently vice president of the newly formed 'Black Music Association,' Gasper Lawals involvement in both the English and Nigerian music scene has been ongoing for the past 10 years. Gaspers first album "Ajomase" was released 4 years ago and his live touring outfit 'The Drum Oro Band' have been playing occasional dates around London, always impressing their audiences with a most stimulating performance. A true international artist, Gasper Lawal creates a very high standard for himself with both recorded and live output. "Abio'sunni" is only his second LP and must stand already as a most important record in the development of African music.
