Eat! Work! Play! Sleep! Eat! Work... Play! Sleep... Why not have Sammy take over? Joshua McAllister (of Function13) has built a bionic banker, perfect for those who would rather kick it on white sands with syrupy, coconut drinks; except this redlining robot is in techno-funk-music form, punching in calculated bass synths in an office of creamy, Pantone organ sounds. An impressive array of engineers and disgruntled office workers have signed on to the project, ready to add their own unique modifications to better suit their vacation expectations. Remixers include Percival, who managed to make Sammy punch the keys a bit softer; while Augustus Williams really wanted to ramp up the efficiency. The Seed label boss Bill Kraemer also increased the pace; while Lude Jaw, Jonathan Storm, Gazza, and Lady Fingers managed to inject a little more soul than Sammy is used to. Meanwhile, Tatem and A Plain White Wrapper have conspired to make Sammy a bit more mechanical.
