Four Voice Canons --- 2002

All the pieces on this disc are mensuration canons of four or more voices. In these canons, each successively entering voice moves proportionally faster than the previous one, causing each canon's density and rhythmic complexity to increase from beginning to end. Track 1 recorded, edited, mixed and digitally remastered 1983/89, Mills College Center for Contemporary Music, Oakland, CA. Track 2, 3, 5 and 15 recorded, edited and mixed June-August 2002, Bittrax, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, and Los Angeles, CA. Track 4 and 6 realized at the Bergman Electronic Music Studio, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Track 7 recorded, edited and mixed June 22, 2002, Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, University of York, England. Track 8 recorded and realized in Melbourne, Australia, and Hanover, NH, 1996/97.
