Overview
"Demonstration Not For Sale" --- 1972
A promotional-only double LP released in 1972. Doesn't have a proper name, simply packaged in a generic white sleeve with an informational insert for radio DJ's. The insert states the recording was done live on March 25, 1972 at the CBS 30th Street Studio in New York City, attended by "400 college radio programmers and D.J.'s." All of David Bromberg's songs would make their way onto his second album, "Demon In Disguise". The majority of Loggins & Messina's set are songs from their debut "Sittin' In" while three songs would make it on their official debut as "Loggins & Messina". This is the first and only place where "The Kenny Loggins Band" are given their own credit, which would become simply "Loggins & Messina" from 1972 to their split in 1976.
