Overview

0² --- 1989

The title of the tape is "0²", as shown on the spine of the cover and in local reviews from the era. The title is pronounced "Zero 2" not "Oh 2". Comes with a large double-sided fold-out insert with lyrics, credits, info, and extensive additional artwork. Both "Piracy" and "0²" demos tape labels were done the same way. An 8.5" x 11" abstract art illustration was done by Screamer, and printed onto a sheet of label paper, so every label gets a different piece of the artwork, making 8 different possible label designs, chosen at random ("Piracy" labels done on white paper" and "0²" done on yellow paper. Therefore, no two copies have the same combination of label designs. After these artwork labels ran out Screamer made small type-written labels with the titles and track lengths for each side. During the creation of "0²", to postpone running out of labels, the round center parts of the labels (normally thrown away) were also used as well, some tapes getting a complete label on one side and the round piece on the other side, or even 2 different round peices, like in the pictured copy. Recorded in late 1988 at Mars Studios, released in late 1989 on Screamer's own PF Productions.
