Comes in a Digipak-like sleeve with a 28-page booklet. Commissioned by Opéra de Lille (France) and French ministry of culture. Premiered in Lille, November 17th 2004. Recorded November 2004. Mixed at IRCAM (Paris), March 2005. Mastered at Musica Numeris. Co-produced by Cyprès, Ircam-Centre Pompidou, Opéra de Lille & Ictus. Special thanks to Caroline Sonrier, Alain Jacquinot & Mathieu Lecoutre. Libretto includes fragments of texts by Herman Melville, Franz Kafka, Charles Baudelaire, William Shakespeare, Victor Hugo. Booklet in Dutch, French, English & German. Total time: 59'07". Dedicated to the memory of Fausto Romitelli, who died in Milan on 27 June 2004.
