Overview

Featuring The Insects --- 1998

Comes with fold-out insert with photos and liner notes on one side and a poster on the other. Track titles are listed in both the fold-out insert and the interior inlay card, but several are listed differently between the two: - Track 4 is listed in the fold-out as "Featuring The Insects (East Berlin)", and in the inlay as "The Insects". - "I Need Alot of Attention" is listed in the fold-out as track 5.5, but in the inlay as part of track 5 ("No Smoking / I Need Alot of Attention"). - Track 6 is listed in the fold-out as "Big Time Suicide" , and in the inlay as "'Till You Were Gone". - Track 10 is listed in the fold-out as "My Eyes Twitchin'", and in the inlay as "Eye's Twitchin'". - Track 12 is listed in the fold-out as "James @34", and in the inlay as "Hey, James". - Track 13 is listed in the fold-out as "Somebody, Somewhere", and in the inlay as "7:47". - Track 14 is listed in the fold-out as "Oh Yea (Live 'Cuda Breakdown)", and in the inlay as "Barracuda Breakdown". Notes for track 6 state "lineup unavailable, produced by Steve Albino". Notes for track 14 state "original lineup". The band members and their collaborators play various roles and use a number of pseudonyms in the liner notes. "The Insects" are an alter ego of Beehive & The Barracudas, with the liner notes claiming that they are a trio from East Berlin. The notes also give a fictitious story about the recording sessions and several (non-existent) prior Beehive & The Barracudas releases.
