Grand March From Tannhauser --- 1904

Announced: Edison Concert Band Originally recorded in 1897 for release on an Edison Brown Wax Cylinder Record with the same catalog #. This version was re-recorded in 1902 for the new Gold Moulded records. First versions had no information pressed into the cylinder rim, but just a faint patent notice, Edison's signature and catalog number etched into the space following the last grooves. This release, which has the title, etc, in bold white at the end of the cylinder likely dates to sometime after August, 1904.
