MayDay --- 2014

A darker palette than C.B., MayDay combines muscular Russian sine waves, room recordings cut too close to home, female vocals, and handbuilt instruments. Recorded at 262 Bowery over the course of a year, this tape presents a zone of terror inside the Chronopolis of the Garden of Time. For fans of Reptile Enclosure, The Venus Hunters, and Cry Hope! Cry Fury! Guest appearances by Tamio Shiraishi. Hand built instruments include the Chroma Color Organ and Skip Laplante’s Wooden Chimes(1990) as well as his string instrument, The Canon (1976).
