Whirl-Y-Waves --- 1996

Once upon a time, there was a heavenly water planet which became polluted and distressed. Yet all was not lost because lots of people everywhere decided to make the world a better place. One such person was a Monkey Pilot, who was joined by co-pilot, Mary. Thus by one friend, then another, a whole crew of like-minded individuals began to speak of one family. They took a vision, then a space and with simple silks and drapes, created a rainbow rippling world full of music and light. Here lay the potential for ordinary ecstasy. A decade later, Whirl-Y-Gig shines like a beacon, a leading light in the global dance scene, a pioneer in new-age clubbing, and an inspiration to anyone who values music, art and dance, a sense of celebration, and most of all, a belief in community.
