This album is a tribute to the great bluesmen of Mississippi, not only those who wrote the songs included here, but also the unknown authors of traditional songs and unknown artists lost somewhere out there… The legends, stories, melodies and rhythms of these old blues and folk songs are the inspiration for musicians from all countries and cultures. They have been an inspiration for me, too, and they will always come back to me in melancholy times. God bless you, my old friends.
