All I Want --- 2013-02-01

“All I Want” is Eduard Tarradas aka Clip’s debut album. He is an icon of Spain’s new generation of electronic music. Ex-student of RBMA 2011 who stands out as a solid and brave gem. Highly influenced by traditional British music, contemporary R&B and new production technics like Juke/ Footwork or the extremely esthetical Clip! He embraces a confused formula between the dancefloor and the equation, experimental development. He plays with balance and originality, giving the trio a unique type of sensuality, the key quality to define “All I Want”. “I Want you to Stay” keeps the smother House style but other elements also stand out: he manages to weave a complete and refreshing result from UK- Garage, Footwork and signs of vocal qualities. “Shes Got”, on the other hand, highlights the footwork influence reminding us of the perfect combination obtained by Machinedrum in "Room(s)". The main theme is presented by simple and minimalistic from the beginning although with a script full of surprises: very artistic vocal processes, the total presence of the melody throughout the frenetic development. Difficult to categorize, perhaps we could think of a piece by Young Smoke less cluttered, or in an accelerated eco-jam. The album closes with “Get Down” impeccable tool which once again recovers the classic flavor of British music and grown in proportion to it’s developing bassline.
