Lög Unga Fólksins --- 1977

This album is a collaboration from members of two prominent folk groups in Iceland in the late 70s, Spilverk Þjóðanna (Spilverkið) and Þokkabót. It contains 13 original compositions of children's songs. Though not your typical children's songs, as they were more provoking than usual for the genre, humorous and witty lyrics with often not so subtle political message, enjoyed as much, if not more by the parents than their children. In 2009 the album was voted one of the 100 best Icelandic albums of all time.
