According to archived pages from the band's website (http://web.archive.org/web/20031030073856/http://www.palomartheband.com/about.html), Palomar "put the first album out themselves, just one month after forming, and it's called "Palomar," with an implied Roman numeral one (released in 1999). They printed up 500 copies of this record."
