Critical Beats is a 100% volunteer run non-profit that is using music to inspire rainforest preservation. It brings Amazonian musicians together with famous producers from around the world for the purpose of collaborative music making. The results weave together ancient sounds, rhythms, stories, and prayers alongside modern beats and electronic wizardry, producing an inspiring cross-cultural call to environmental action. All of the proceeds go to organizations and projects already working in the Amazon with well-established relationships and processes in place to combat deforestation, species loss, and the displacement of indigenous tribes from their native lands. This way you can enjoy listening, dancing, and knowing that all the while you are contributing to a brighter world.
