Previously unissued performances, rare takes and radio cuts from 1947-1951 Note 1: Restoration Mastering by Alan Stoker of the Country Music Foundation Note 2: The songs heard in this collection is the restored sound of 16" transcriptions and original 78 rpm lateral-cut discs. The recordings have neither been artificially enhanced nor re-channeled for stereo effect. Occasional technical imperfections will be noted by the listener. They remain as a result of the editor's conviction that historical issues must strive to duplicate the sound of original recordings employed.
