The Computer Spectrum --- 1985

Microtonal Musicbox was realized at the GEM Computer Music Studio in Worcester, Mass., and final work achieved at the M.I.T. Electronic Music Studio in Cambridge, Mass. Partial Manifolds is the first of a series of compositions for wind ensemble the structures which are derived from mathematics – specifically, combinatorial group theory – and implemented with the aid of the University of Maryland computer. Goldbach’s Conjecture was composed in 1983-84 using a version of the computer program ST-10 created by Iannis Xenakis. Concertpiece for Violin and Computer (1982, rev. 1984)The computer tape was realized at the studio of the Tri-College Group for Electronic Music in Worcester, Mass. Mastered by Sound Technique, Inc.
