Dinky Diamond --- 2011-11-08
Principal analogue recording of tracks 2, 4, 6, 8 and 11-14 took place between 1986 and 1989 on a Tascam reel-to-reel eight track recorder in MD's home studio. Overdubs and digital fine-tuning (with the exception of track 14 that appears on this album exactly as recorded in 1987): December 2010 to September 2011. Songs 3, 9 and 10 were taped in 2003-2005. Recordings of tracks 1, 5 and 7: 2011. Five of the tracks on this album (2, 4, 6, 12 und 13) were featured - in very different versions - on the soundtracks of two Austrian underground movies directed by Carl Andersen: "I Was A Teenage Zabbadoing" aka "Vampyros Sexos" (1988) and "Mondo Weirdo" aka "Jungfrau Am Abgrund" (1989/90). © Modellmusik / Klanggalerie 2011 Spine: P) November 2011 Issued in a 3-panel digifile.
