Cadmium was originally produced as a contribution to Captain Tinrib's "Manta" remix project in 1999. The Jon Doe remix was never selected for official release on Tinrib, therefore Jon Doe decided to release it himself. A limited run of 500 were pressed onto 12" and distributed via Alphamagic Ltd.
