One sided single etched into clear polycarbonate with a cardboard inlay housed inside a seethrough plastic sleeve. On inside of cardboard inlay: "This lathe cut record was made in real time, by a human being, etched into polycarbonate using experimental process and forty year old machines rescued from a Karaoka bar in Tokyo. It is not a factory pressed record and may have slightly more surface noise aor occasional light distortion in certain frequencies. Similary, the volum will be a little lower than on modern records. So give the volume on your amplifier a little bump. Each record is cut and then tested to make sure ti workds on regular turntables , however you may need to adjuest your tone arm (slightly lighter weight) in order for it to track correctly. This is because 'etched' records have shallower grooves than a traditional piece of vinyl. If the record sounds overly distorted, reseat the needle as somtimes it can get caught on the side of the groove. We hope you enjoy listening to this product as much as we enjoyed cutting it."
