The Bands Of Gypsy --- 1999

Over four months of Tuesday nights, from September to December 1998, thirty-six local [Canberra based] bands [listed on CD insert] had their live performances recorded live to DAT. Fourteen [bands and fifteen] tracks were chosen by a panel of local industry representatives to be mastered and pressed to the CD. The tracks included show the scope and musical styles regularly heard at The Gypsy Bar [in Canberra, ACT], from Latin to ambient to jazz, folk, pop, rock, country and ska.
