All royalties due paid to the Nxumalo family. © and ℗ 2021 Matsuli Music Limited. Reissued with printed inner sleeves containing notes by Francis Gooding of The Wire and archival photography. Audio restored, remastered and cut for vinyl by Frank Merritt at The Carvery, London. Heavyweight 180g vinyl pressed at Pallas in Germany. Original vinyl sourced from the Flatinternational Archive. The original master tape for Gideon Plays is lost, and this edition was restored from a clean vinyl copy to the highest standard achievable. Imperfections in the sound on the album are a feature of the recording, and are thought to result from side one having been recorded onto aged or damaged tape.
