Chart Hits 83 --- 1983

Presented in two single pocket sleeves. The sleeves configure to create a single image. Die cut white paper inner sleeves, some may be by Robert Stace and production dated November 1983. The same title on both spines reads: " Chart Hits 83". Labels do not refer to Vol. 1, Vol. 2, rather "Record One" and "Record Two". Labels for discs one and two contain differences in layout and font. Record two rim text includes "Made in England". The discs have different compression rings and are from different plants. Marketed and sold as a single unit, despite titles of "Volume 1" and "Volume 2" appearing to imply that they are standalone releases. On sleeve fronts: "Buy Vol 1 Get Vol 2 Free" and "But Vol 2 Get Vol 1 Free" respectively, as a marketing ploy. Runouts are etched.
