"Over the last few years the cellists of the Cello8ctet Amsterdam have been dreaming about recording a CD filled with, according to themselves and the audience, the most popular works written and arranged for the ensemble. In 2014 the Octet celebrated it's 25th Anniversary and this album has become a cardinal point in the history of the ensemble. The album title TR8CKS has been chosen to encourage listening to these tracks in any order -- this has become an ultimate playlist of the Cello8ctet!" -- from the CD booklet. The booklet includes notes on each composer and the work/s that are being played in English.
