Recorded in Chicago on September 15, 1926 (1), September 21, 1926 (2-3), December 16, 1926 (4-7), June 4, 1927 (8-11), June 10, 1927 (12-14), and in New York on June 11, 1928 (15-20). Title given as "Volume Four" on disc and spine, "Volume 4" on booklet and tray insert. Also part of box set "Jelly Roll Morton: 1926-1930". For tracks 2 & 3, the files mention a second cornet but this may refer to the klaxon horn used on first track. Darnell Howard - violin on track 4 according to himself but [a817903] is also mentioned as possible. This release is a repress of [r7148851] without barcode and with SID codes. Not issued before 1994 due to SID codes. "Manufactured in England" on CD face but SID codes denote glass mastering and pressing by German [l412279].
